Herman Melviile, Miles Davis, Lou Gehrig
Herman Melville. My first get. I had moved near this cemetery and just after New Years decided to check it out. Melville was a late bloomer and I am hoping some of that magic might rub off for me. I'd give Woodlawn Cemetery's map a B+
Miles Davis. Hard to miss this gorgeous tombstone. Also Woodlawn Cemtery.
Lou and Eleanor Gehrig. From Cemetery of the Gate of Heaven. More on that in another post. A joint grave. I feel both of the deceased should be acknowledged.
